Every summer my husband and I head to the High Sierras so he can fish and I can paint. Our favorite spot is a slot canyon bisected by a thundering creek. Painting rapids is a challenge!  Any body of water calls to me, so alpine lakes are also a favorite painting subject. I feel especially connected to nature spirits when I sit among the redwoods, aspens and meadows.
