Why mermaids on an image consultant website?

I’m writing a book called Listening To The Mermaids: My Year Underwater, based on the eighteen months I recently spent living by the sea in Hawaii. Listening to the mermaids is a way for your higher self to connect with the vast beauty and magic that surrounds you.

Growing More Beautiful is a reflection of your inner landscape; the peace, serenity, trust and fluidity that you bring to your life. The blend of art and alchemy that makes my work unique has been enhanced by my imaginary connection with mermaids. In ancient texts it’s noted that mermaids have always helped alchemists on their path. My mermaids are strong, empowered, thinking mermaids, not the delicate Disney version. They are unbound by time and space, so their perspective is different from my own. At times they echo thoughts of my higher self, other times their messages seem to be part of the great universal truths.
