For the last few months I’ve been interviewed on radio shows all across the country. Before the sun comes up in California I’m talking to drive time listeners in New York, Montana, Iowa, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, Massachusetts, and Missouri. I relish every opportunity to share the ideas in Growing More Beautiful.
My favorite interview question is “What styles are appropriate for midlife women?” I want to confess that since I am frequently clad in a mini-skirt and boots I may not be the best person to ask. But, hey, I’ve got the microphone, so I make it clear to listeners that your age or weight should not inhibit your personal style. Sometimes it seems the fear of doing it “wrong” has a stranglehold on creativity. Get over it, America!
The male hosts ask some mighty interesting questions! Tommy in Montana told me he thinks grey hair is sexy — Do you think he was flirting with me on air? The women that interview me often forget their script and get caught up in their personal issues and concerns, and I enjoy those conversations the most.
Here are some of the frequently asked questions:
- How do I break the “black” habit?
- How can I be less critical of my body?
- What makes someone beautiful?
- What is your favorite beauty treatment?
- How can I still look stylish on a budget?
You can listen to the interviews below and hear the answer to these questions and much, much more.
