It’s inspiring to see how lives can change by something as simple as wearing a color that resonates with individual essence. Again and again, I hear from my clients about their experience of being seen.
Being seen creates connection. Someone notices you and smiles or comments, and in return, you do the same. A kind remark brings a warm glow and allows you to look outward.
Do you know notice when another person is wearing a pleasing color combination? Do you compliment them when a feature or accessory catches your eye? Negative comparisons, harsh judgments and anxiety about body image and aging make us feel unworthy and alone. Seeing and being seen brings people together and color lifts the spirit.
I’ve lived here for 7 years, but I was invisible. I rarely spoke to anyone. Now when I’m out and about women of all ages smile and comment on my colors or what I’m wearing. I know I feel more myself and I show up more. Lisa, 57
Artful self-expression helps men and women expand into their fullest potential. I’ve long been a champion of the healing aspects of color, but now more than ever I want to encourage you to take advantage of it. Pause for a moment as you select your outfit and consider what colors feel most aligned with your energy. It’s a small but luxurious pleasure to coordinate your jewelry, scarf, hat, and gloves on those chilly mornings. Take care of yourself and honor your life at this moment. Let’s celebrate our beauty and cheer each other on as this fresh new year gets underway.
In the past, I’ve literally had people look right past me when I’m in line at the grocery store. Knowing my style and colors has given me a greater sense of confidence, and others have noticed I seem more comfortable in my skin. Crystal, 48
I’ve always loved clothes, but lately I was changing multiple times and often feeling unsuccessful in my attempts to look beautiful and natural. Discovering the colors that resonate with me has both simplified and expanded the process of adorning myself. Shawna, 39
I always wear the colors my daughter recommends, and I get lots of compliments. Lois, 89, ageless beauty.
